Just churn it out.

Once again, I was administered a very helpful assignment at Columbia: to “write a story” using this nifty free and versatile digital tool, Adobe Spark.

I very rarely put informal writing out there, but due to all of my work with at-risk students over the last few years, the subject of this “quasi-fable” came to me instantly. It’s not clean, edited, or refined, but I think young people may benefit from knowing that they are not alone, and that many of their stories overlap in surprising ways.
